Terrbile Determination
This stallion will not charge my Lenmar Battery RHB66. I even bought a new Lenmar battery to see if the old battery was the predicament and it will not charge that one either. I would not recommend this charger.

Will not control EP096FL
This component will not charge my EP096FL RCA battery. It acts as though the battery is at full charge. I have just put the battery on the original RCA stallion and it has been charging for 20 minutes and is still going. This unit has some sensor problems with this model of battery-operated. In summary, for my purposes, this charger is worthless. Good-bye $$$$.

Works bonzer with Canon Digital Rebel 300D
When I purchased this I was a bit perturbed that it wouldn't work with my Digital Rebel, but was pleasently surprised when it worked without a hitch.
Might be a bit slower than a concrete state CF card, but I don't have the stats to back that up. Just observations.
Final analysis: Good contraption for most cameras. With the price of solid state CF card's falling, though ... might be better to get something without unstationary parts.

Inordinate Flash Alternative
Dollar for dollar these crumble out much cheaper than the comparable size in a CF card (flash memory). For those with Minolta (Konica-Minolta) digital camersa, the 3gb journey works fine. I have read the skeptics remarks online. I use it in my Dimage A 100 with no problems. Granted, it is a Lilliputian hard drive, so reading it will take a second or two longer and it is fragile, so care must be taken with it. You could discard a CF card with no damage. Drop one of these and you are probably out a hundred bucks plus your data. All in all, I am glad I bought it. There is a $30 cut-back until mid-April which makes it an even sweeter deal.

big but a unimaginative slow
I don't attend to any problem with speed in my Canon Rebel XT, however, when accessing it via a card reader it is noticeably slower than a sturdy state card. I guess that is the price you pay for large volume without the large price. It is well significance the compromise.

Excellent buy
For any assembly wandering, this drive is a 3K6. This means it consumes less battery than the previous hitachi microdrive. It's A- for the price, works with my Axim X50 just fine. And if you need more storage there's always the 6GB version.

Amazon let me down
I at bottom cannot write a review on this product as it was ordered along with the Hitachi 500 Camcorder on March 23rd. The accessory kit was delivered in two natural life but on April 19th Amazon emailed me saying they could not deliver the Camcorder. When I checked their site they were still sacrifice the Camcorder for sale but at a much higher price. So I am stuck a month later with accessories for a camcorder they would not ship which limits me to prospering elsewhere or going through the problems of returning. I would have felt much better about this whole thing if I did not see them still selling product on their area but at a higher price. While I have not had problems with Amazon in the past this whole experience will make me hesitate from using them in the coming. Bottom line is if you are purchasing this as a complimentary solution to a Hitachi Camcorder, make sure they have both items in creator or do not pull the trigger.

Heinous deal at this price, but bag is big for the HYBRID Hitachi
I figured if I bought a scanty battery and 3 blank mini-DVDs separately, it would have cost the same as this bundle. So its like getting the Hitachi bag for gratis. Great value. The bag is a little on the big side, considering the small size of the Hitachi Hybrid (HDD/DVD) camera I have. But you can fit alot in it I fancy. Only has one main compartment with a padded divider in there, and one small outside pocket, so you cant get that organized. The Hitachi vade-mecum is so huge (they print 3 languages all in one book) that it wont fit in the bag, which is a bummer cause now I will lose it.
